Dear residents of LYNDON,
These are the crime updates in the Lyndon area between 11th of APRIL 2026- 19th of APRIL 2026.
Burglary
Dove House lane- An unknown offender has snapped the front door lock to a property and has searched the house. The unknown offender has stolen gold from inside the house and made off.
Vehicle crime
Coniston Avenue-A FORD TRANSIT was stolen via unknown means. The vehicle was later recovered.
Pierce Avenue-A FORD PUMA was stolen via keyless means.
Hobs Meadow-A YAMAHA motorbike was stolen via unknown means.
Lyndon Road- An unknown offender has broken the driver side window to a vehicle by unknown means.
The team had an early start this past week and conducted three simultaneous warrants at different locations to arrest three prolific and wanted burglars and vehicle thieves. With help from Smith's Wood NHT, Solihull CID, Solihull Offender Management Team, SOCEX and Neighbourhood Crime Team we got hands on with the suspects and got them in handcuffs. All three suspects were charges with a range of offences including burglary, theft of motor vehicle, assaults on Police Officers and drug offences. They were remanded and put before the courts the following day. This wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless work Solihull’s Policing teams and our partners put in everyday to catch offenders who seek to steal from the honest hardworking people of Solihull.
The team assisted our response colleagues in locating and safeguarding a vulnerable missing person in the Olton area. The person was located safe and well and was given the support they needed to ensure they were safeguarded.
The team were also tasked with tracking down and arresting a wanted high risk domestic violence offender in the local area this week. He was in handcuffs the same day and safely behind a cell door safeguarding the victim from any further harm.
