Dear Residents and Local Businesses,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Our officers have been carrying out high visible patrols across the area, paying particular attention to areas that have been reported to have had a recent increase in crime or anti-social behaviour.
ARRESTS One person was arrested by officers on our team for being drunk and disorderly.
VEHICLE SEIZURES One vehicle was recovered after our officers discovered it was stolen.
VEHICLE CRIME A Land Rover Discovery was reported stolen from Showcase Cinema Car Park overnight 13th-14th April. A theft from vehicle was reported on Eden Road on 20th April. A vehicle was broken into on Richardson Way overnight 13th-14th April. You can find out more about preventing vehicle crime by clicking here : https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/vehicle-safe-and-sound/ and https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/preventing-car-vehicle-theft/
PACT (PARTNERS AND COMMUNITIES TOGETHER) MEETINGS We attended a PACT meeting on Tuesday 21st April at Moat House Leisure Centre. It was well attended and we are looking into the issues raised. We will be arranging another one in due course. Please keep an eye on these emails for more information.
OTHER INFORMATION If you have information about people committing crime that you want to tell us about, you can contact us on the non-emergency telephone number 101. Alternatively, you can contact the CRIMESTOPPERS charity anonymously by calling 0800 555 111. This is a free phone number. CRIMESTOPPERS can also be contacted online here: Independent UK charity taking crime information anonymously | Crimestoppers (crimestoppers-uk.org)
Please do not report crime via WMnow because it is not always monitored.
Kind Regards, The Henley & Longford Neighbourhood Policing Team
