Dear Resident,

Fly-tipping in the Wednesfield and Heath Town areas of Wolverhampton has historically been a persistent issue, leading to a "zero-tolerance" collaborative strategy as of 2026. The City of Wolverhampton Council and local police now treat environmental degradation as a precursor to more serious crime.

Current Known Hotspots:

Wyrley and Essington Canal: Secluded towpath sections near Moat House and the Wednesfield village stretch are frequently targeted.

Heath Town Estate Alleyways: Communal alleyways have recently required major clearances of bulk waste like mattresses and white goods to reduce fire risks.

Kitchen Lane: Specifically near the Essington boundary, which has seen large-scale "house clearance" style dumping.

Wednesfield High Street & Bentley Bridge: Industrial fringes and areas behind shops (such as the Steph's car park entrance) are monitored for both domestic and commercial waste breaches.
