Dear Resident
Good morning to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.
Theft of motor vehicle There has been 1 report of a stolen vehicle in the past week, Slade Road, Plough and Harrow public house car park- A Bronze Nissan Quashqai was stolen with keys.
There have been 2 reports of stolen number plates on Cheswood Drive, Sutton Coldfield.
If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
For more crime prevention advice go to www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ or www.securedbydesign.com
Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.
Arrests A shoplifter who had been stealing from both Mere Green and Walmley retail areas has been arrested for failing to appear at court and drug offences.
Surgeries Officers from the Four Oaks and Walmley Neighbourhood Teams have attended the Four Oaks Baptist Church and St Johns Church to carry out Police Surgeries giving crime prevention advice and talking to local residents about issues in the area.
Street Watch Our great volunteers have carried out Street Watch patrols in Mere Green, Wylde Green and Walmley keeping our communities safe and reporting any issues.
Have a safe week.
Kind Regards Four Oaks and Walmley Neighbourhood Teams | ||
