Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT
Dear Members Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening
. Burglaries No burglaries reported this week but there have been two reports of a garage and a conservatory being entered and items stolen. Please ensure you lock any outbuildings. They are still at risk of being broken into.
. Vehicle Crime Two reports of vehicles being stolen in the past week. They were both locked and secure so unknown how entry was gained. If you have keyless entry cars, please store your keys in a faraday pouch. This blocks anyone from picking up the signal from it and being able to unlock the car.
You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com
. In other News Patrols by your local team have been continuing with a good result. A vehicle was stopped and after a search, guess what? A male was arrested for having an offensive weapon and a bladed article. Keeping the people of Coventry safe 😊
We also had a traffic operation along with our traffic colleagues. Many, many vehicles pulled over for various reasons. Drivers advised or appropriately dealt with depending on the offence.
Enjoy your bank holiday weekend, lets hope the weather stays nice :-) If you're a fan of Coventry City Football Club, enjoy the parade on Monday.
Until next week Stay safe everyone.
