If you have a house or business premises and they have security alarms make sure they are regularly maintained and in good working order. 

Always ask callers who visit your home address or business premises for identification and don't be afraid to call their company to confirm their identity. If they are genuine representatives they won't mind. It is better to play on the side of caution, than to become a victim of Bogus Callers. 

Don't leave valuables on display in your car and if it has an alarm then use it.
