It has been another very busy set for Halesowen South, with the temperature going up so is demand, and we remain more committed than ever to keeping the community safe.
This week has involved: A very productive meeting with officers from Halesowen Neighbourhood Team and Driving school, the local MP and residents in order to discuss and educate the community on the brilliant work the Driving school do. It was lovely to get together and some great discussions were had.
A continuation of our ongoing work to combat Anti-Social Behaviour, with regular patrols happening within the Town Centre and some lovely community engagement. We always enjoy meeting and speaking to residents when we are out on foot.
As we head into our rest days, this is a reminder that whilst the hot weather is very enjoyable, please ensure you are looking after yourself. In these temperatures, it is important to hydrate and stay in shaded areas where possible.
Also- please spare a thought for our four-legged friends in this heatwave. In current temperatures, it is advised that dogs are kept inside where they can be kept cool, rather than walking them outside, as the hot ground on their paws will cause extreme discomfort and pain.
Stay safe, stay hydrated and enjoy the sunshine! | ||
