Criminal Damage in Jardine Crescent |
||
|
Dear Resident We're investigating after new playzone equipment in Coventry was deliberately damaged. Some time before 23 June, extensive damage has been caused to playzone equipment being installed in Jardine Crescent, Tile Hill. As well as this, machinery being used to install the new equipment was also damaged. As a result of the damage, the opening of the new playground has been delayed, meaning its programme of summer activities may not be able to go ahead. The new Multi-Use Games Area is a joint effort between West Midlands Police, Coventry City Council and the Football Foundation designed to help bring the community together through sport. This damage has caused delays to a community asset costing thousands of pounds. Anyone who thinks they know who is responsible, or anyone with information which could help in our enquiries can call 101 quoting crime number 20/296574/26.
