Olton WMnow Update

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is well and happy to take a welcome break from the sweltering heat and you are able to enjoy complaining about the rain like I am.

Olton Crime Update:

Overnight on the 5th of September there was a theft of motor vehicle on Ulverley Green Road whereby a black Kia Sportage was stolen without keys by two males. This has been caught on CCTV and the investigation is progressing.

In the early hours of the 6th of September a black Honda Jazz was stolen from Reservoir Road while it was locked and secured on the owner’s drive. Enquires are still ongoing.

Good News:

The team made two arrests in relation to outstanding court warrants for two of our most prolific offenders on the patch. After a short chase the pair were located inside an address in locked up. They have now been put before the courts and are being dealt with for the matters.

The team have issued a number of Community Protection Warnings based upon information we have received about anti-social behaviour in the area. The suspects have been located and dealt with them now firmly on our radar going forward.

A suspected drug dealer in the area has been stopped and searched following a short chase. Class B drugs have been located and seized and the male is now going through the process to deal with the possession.

The team jumped in to assist with a high risk missing person who was a vulnerable child who was able to be safely located and returned to loved ones thanks to the help from our officers.
