Dear Residents, 

PCSO Petrosino here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfields neighbourhood policing team.

What`s been happening: 

We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have also been very proactive with arrests this week as detailed below, and taken part in multiple community engagements throughout Hillfields. 

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: 

Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community.

Street Watch – In September we have conducted joint patrols with the Street Watch volunteers, this has allowed opportunity to identify issues with residents and problem solve with partners.

PACT &  The Hillfields Resident Meeting – This has given the opportunity for residents to come and speak with the team directly, sharing information and supporting yourselves in partnership with Local Authority and Housing colleagues

Business Engagement - We have also have been out speaking with businesses on Harnall Lane east, completing reassurance patrols and putting measures in place around problem solving issues which have been raised.

ARRESTS:

This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 20 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week, ranging from Burglary, Theft of Pedal Cycle, Disq Drive, Theft of Pedal Cycle and Possession of Offensive weapon. 

GREAT NEWS:

Your local neighbourhood team have recently set-up a Street watch in Hillfields. 

Street Watch Team is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live.
