Hello Resident, Good Afternoon from the Small Heath and Highgate team! ✅ What have we been doing recently ✅ Our Sergeant along with some of our team attended Wyndcliffe Primary School, where we were able to meet with most of the students in reception and Year 1 to talk about “Who keeps us safe”. The children were able to try on some of the uniform and sit in a police car. Last week saw a Freshers Fare at South and City College Bordesely Campus, one of our PCSOs was able to meet with over 500 students and partner agencies. Many of the students engaged with a Questions and Answers session, and raised some really good points. We have continued our Patrols around Small Heath, including the Coventry Road and across Highgate in the Horton Square area, if you see us come and say hi 👋Our PCSOs spotted someone inhaling balloons in a car on Coventry Road, whilst speaking to the driver one of our Special Police Constables came to support, our enquiries showed the vehicle had no insurance and the driver was disqualified from driving…Driver arrested and vehicle seized! Could you see yourself as a Special? Following the link below for further details Special Constable | West Midlands Police 2 of our PCs helped reunite a young child with their parents after they managed to get separated in a shopping area. We responded to an emergency outside of Nechells Police station. A call came through following a Road Traffic Collision, our team attended the location along with our partners from West Midlands Ambulance Service. Once everyone involved was checked over we were able to clear the vehicles and everyone was able to go home safely.
